Dr. Hon Sir Benson Chang, a Fellow Certified Public Accountant, Public Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser, Certified Tax Agent (Practising), Chartered Wealth Manager, Certified Internal Auditor and Registered Environmentalist, is the Founder and Group Managing Director of Lion Group. With over 30 years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, auditing and assurance, tax compliance and advisory, corporate secretarial services, business continuity management, internal control and corporate governance functions.

His industry background includes trading, manufacturing, advertising, promotion, logistics, restaurant operations, optical dealers, property leasing and development, private equity and USA OTC listing. Previously, he was a Financial Controller of a private equity firm managing HK$4B in property investment projects in Macau and China; Senior Accounting Manager of a GEM Board listed company (8213.HK) in catering industry managing over 40 restaurants and bars in Hong Kong and Shanghai. His clients included listed and private companies from Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, France, Spain, Germany, UK, Canada, and US.

He has also delivered public seminars on accounting, cross-border tax compliance, financial reporting, CRS, IPO, internal control, corporate governance and Company Doctor organized by the Hong Kong Exchange and Clearing Limited and Bank of China, Shanghai Main Branch and professional bodies.
